Why do so many people like gas ranges?
It can be hard to understand why so many people love their gas ranges. At least on the surface, electric ranges have so many advantages, including the fact that they are not powered by a poisonous and explosive invisible gas! One reason people love gas ranges is that when you turn on a burner, it’s at full temperature almost instantly and there is none of the heating up and cooling down periods that are common in electric ranges. People also like to be able to judge the amount of heat they are using by observing the gas flame, and this isn’t possible with an electric range.
