There is no doubt that other countries are still into using desktop computers. They are still vital in running institutions and businesses. Students still run to computer shops and internet cafes, looking for the comfort brought about by these wonderful machines. But for the past decade, the use of laptops has invaded the technological world. It seems that having laptops with gaming features is a social requirement. For the girls, it is considered trendy to have at least cute pink laptops.
It is surprising that back then; computers are intended only for information purposes. Nowadays, they are being considered as status symbol. They are found in almost all the rooms in a financially able household. In cafes offering free wifi connections, you would always see people using a laptop. It’s astounding that these people come of different ages. From businessmen who are using it for architectural designs, document processing, transaction tracking up to the students who uses it primarily for doing assignments, projects and even for just playing games, the comfort being offered by laptops are remarkable. It is truly an outstanding feat for the human society to have developed laptops.
The first models of laptops are designed primarily for offices. These laptop models have station docks supposedly situated in an office. It has all the needed ports a busy businessman or presenter would need. The weights of these are not advisable for transportation. Also, these first models do not have wide-ranged features. They are not designed for gaming and other multi media purposes. Nowadays, the people are very particular about laptop designs. For the younger generation, it is already a necessity to have a laptop with very cool features that allow them to socialize. Also, today’s computer manufacturers are competing in terms of laptops’ over-all appearance. Computer shops offer these along with other computer accessories. Probably almost all of those who buy a brand new laptop go also goes for a trendy and hip laptop bag. Critics say that someday, just like a cell phone, majority of our young will own at least one laptop.
