The Breakthrough Samsung D900 Mobile Phone
In 2006 when the Samsung D900 mobile phone was released it become really a hit in the UK. With a size of just 13mm, the Samsung D900 Handset (a member of the Samsung Ultra Edition family), is a fairly slim phone that fits nicely in your hand.
With Samsung’s other models they have introduced, such as the P300 and the mega-slim X820, Samsung is beginning to get a reputation as a manufacturer of the slim phones. You can’t believe all the features that the D900 comes with, especially because of its size. It is also a good-looking phone.
If you want to be amazed, this phone comes with a lot of gadgets. It comes with the stereo Bluetooth specification of A2DP, a really top-notch camera with 3-megapixels and a micro SD slot for more storage. Because of the Bluetooth feature there is no need to bother with wires hanging as you can listen to music in high quality stereo with a pair of Bluetooth-compatible headphones. The D900 can be compared favorably with the Sony Ericsson K800i that comes with a really good camera.
However, does the D900 compare to any of Samsung’s other models made in the past? It seems that the D900 is even better. If you compare the D600 and the D800 with the D900, the D900 is much slimmer and is a lot lighter. The D900 is 15 grams lighter than the D800, which is bulky but comes with more comprehensive features. One drawback however, the D900 has a small lip at the bottom of the phone that may get in the way when you use the keyboard. However, is user-friendly. For a little phone, it has a great camera on it.
When Voices in Technology compared the D900 with the Sony Ericsson K800i that set the standard for camera phones, the D900 held its own. Some other features of the camera worth mentioning are the auto-focus and the multi-shot option. They both work very well. It should be noted however, the flash could be brighter. But overall, the Samsung D900 is a really great phone.
