The Basics of Playing Craps

Shooting craps is a really fun game to play and the good thing is that it is not hard to learn. You can also play it everywhere you like because all you need are 2 dices and a couple of friends that like to play craps with you. You can play it in a plain when you are traveling or on the beach when you are relaxing and having fun. But in order to play craps you do need to understand the basics and this article is going to explain how to shoot craps.

Craps is a game where you have to throw 2 dices and if you want to win the game you have to throw 7 or 11. If you do this than that is called a natural and you have won that round. But off course there is also a chance that you will lose a round and that happens when you throw 2,3 or 12 instead and this is called craps. This is all a game about chances and the chance to throw natural is just as big as throwing craps, you will always have 1/6 chance to win the game and 1/6 to lose it.

if you have paid any attention  than you notices that I did not explain to you what happens if you throw another number like 4,5,6,8,9 or 10. If you do this than the game will change a little bit in direction. Now it is not important to throw natural and not throw craps, now you want to throw the same number before you will throw a 7. If you throw the same number than you will hit a point and you can aim for the pot again. But if you throw a 7 than it is game over in that round and someone else can try out his luck.

These are the plain basics of craps, it may take a little bit of practice but it is not hard to master it. Just don’t go to the casino before you fully understand all the basics.
