Star Wars KOTOR Among Best PC Games Ever
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (Kotor) and the later sequel KOTOR 2: Sith Lords, are widely considered among the best PC games of all time. Released in 2003 and 2005 respectively, they are already classics among PC game titles. What sets these PC RPG games apart from other similar role playing games, is their open ended nature and the options the present the player with. You are not led down a linear path and forced to complete specific goals at specific times, but rather given the freedom to choose the order and method you wish to use while playing through the story.
Both of these star wars PC games are closely connected, and you can expect to hear references to, or even meet characters from the first KOTOR game while playing through the Sith Lords campaign. The story is superbly written and revealed at a gradual pace, which keeps you interested and intrigued throughout both Kotor campaigns. You will meed all sorts of interesting characters during your journey, and either grow close to or become enemies of them depending on the choices you make. There are countless reasons for these two games constantly being mentioned among the best PC games of all time, and I detail a few of these during my overview of these two classic RPG games.
