There are several other reasons that the About Me page is useful. Your About Me page is the only place on eBay where you can post a link to your website. That way, you increase your website popularity by taking advantage of eBay’s diverse traffic. Your About Me page is also a great way to network with other buyers and sellers, allowing you to increase your sales or product offering. Eventually, the About Me page is a great place to put previous feedback, and current listings as well.
You don’t need a lot of content to set up your About Me page; all you need is a couple of sentences explaining what you like to sell. You could also include the mission statement of your company. You will be able to edit and add content later. The initial goal is to set the page up, because as soon as your page is set up, an icon will appear next to your user ID. The more icons your have next to your user ID, the more access clients have to your information, the more credible you appear.
