Selling a timeshare? Choose wisely a broker!

Now that you have made the choice that you are going to move your timeshare and you don’t have the time, interest or ability to sell it yourself it’s time to choose a brokerage firm.  Consider your timeshare as property, just like you would your house because that is exactly what it is.

That will give you an idea that all brokerage firms are not created equal.  Some will request a retainer on the front end to move your timeshare, don’t do this.  There are many firms that can market your timeshare in such a way that they are only paid once your timeshare sells.  Likewise, find out what their experience is and how many they represent.  You may want to find one that is seasoned, but not over burdened with other clients.

Consider using someone local to your timeshare location so they can show it and speak to the areas advantages.  Take time and learn timeshare tips so you can speak intelligently to brokerage firms.
