See a Skin Care Specialist for Adult Acne Treatments
I’ve had the unfortunate luck of having acne all my life. Ever since my teenage years, I don’t think I’ve had a day where I didn’t at least have a spot or two on my face. I had talked to my family doctor about getting a referal to a dermatalogist but she always said, “Oh, you don’t need one” and then she prescribed me my medication that really didn’t not keep the acne at bay. Fast forward into adulthood and I’m still struggling with acne. I finally wouldn’t take no for an answer and demanded to see a dermatologist and what a difference that made! A dermatologist will go through your skin cleansing routine, talk to you about skin care, make-up, etc. Obviously, dermatologists are skin care specilaists so they can prescribe a plan for adult acne treatments that are fast acting. My advice for anyone suffering from acne is to see a skin care specialist as soon as you can and not to wait until later on.
