Scene Hair Information

Over the years, hairstyles and come and gone.  Some stayed around for a long time and others quickly disappeared, never to come back again.  For the past while, a new hairstyle has been all the rage throughout North America and Europe and people of all ages and backgrounds are following in the footsteps of celebrities who made the style so popular.  This new hair craze is called Big Scene Hair.  You may have spotted people wearing the style and already know what it is or maybe you have never heard the term before but when I give the description of what scene hair is, you will know exactly what I am talking about because it is everywhere!

Anyone can have scene hair.  The style suits both long and short hair however, tends to look the part more if you have layers.  Basically, it is teased or spiked hair parted to one side with long bangs that usually cover one side of the face.  The style kind of looks like a jazzed-up, modern mullet but more stylish and flattering.  It is common for people who style their hair in this way to dye their hair.  Some people chose common, natural-looking colors while others choose more vibrant and noticeable colors.  Chunky highlights is the way most people go but you can also go with subtle highlights or just one solid color.

Scene hair is very easy to do once you get the hang of it and it takes very little time once you are used to creating the style.  Separate the top layers of hair and tease them.  Than tease the top layers.  Make sure to spray hairspray at the roots to prevent the hair from going flat again.  When done teasing, style as you like and add finishing touches and you are ready to go!
