Many people are concerned about the planet these days and are trying to find a way to live in more eco friendly houses. In the winter months, set your heat lower, wear an extra sweater to keep warm. Leave windows open in the summer if you can, reserve your air conditioning use for just the hottest days and set the temperature higher so it’s not running as much. Walk or use a bike to run errands close to home instead of always using the car. Buy or build a solar panel or a few solar panels for your home. These things will not only help the earth but will save you money as well.
Once you get started living green and thinking about these things, it becomes a habit rather quickly. You will soon find more and more ways to save the earth and to save your family money in process. It is a win, win situation for all when people decide to live in eco friendly houses.
