Most people have good luck when they are working with local mlm leads because you have a natural affinity with them, location. When you approach someone from your area you are talking to someone who knows how your talk and most likely your mannerisms. It goes with out saying that you would have better luck.
This is why all network marketing programs tell you talk to people you know first. They have an affinity for you already and they will be more likely feel good about doing business with you.
