Get Started in Vending Part Time
Maybe you’re looking for a small business that you run part time. Or maybe you’re looking for a small business that can make you an extra couple hundred dollars a month. Or maybe you actually want to start a full time business that will allow you to be self employed and eventually quit your job, but you don’t have a lot of money. I may have a home based business that may be the perfect solution – vending. It’s easy to start a vending machine business, it can be done part time, on weekends or in your free time, plus it can’t be started with very little money. For parents looking to instill some fiscal responsibility into their teenagers, a vending route could be an excellent teaching tool. It would also be a great business for a college student who needs some extra money and a flexible schedule.
It’s important to know that half of everything you read about vending is complete fiction. A lot of people are selling the vision of vending as “easy money” or a “cash cow” or a lot of other nonsense that is completely false. While vending is an excellent home based business, the hard cold reality is that most people who try to establish a profitable route end up finding out that it is a lot harder than they had expected. More people will end up failing at vending than will end up being successful.
So what differentiates the successes from the failures? The main thing is realistic expectations. Too many people get into vending thinking that it’s easy money, once they find out that the vending machine business is tough and require hard work and dedication, they quickly lose their enthusiasm. People who realize that vending is a tough business are much more likely to be successful. Vending isn’t a good fit for everyone, but for people that don’t shy away from hard work and are willing to put in the time, it may be the perfect fit.
