Exercise Bikes
Many older people want to get into better shape but their knees, back and joint won’t allow them to do many exercises. Lifting weights is actually recommended for the elderly because it strengthens bones in the body which will prevent osteoporosis. When walking is too painful for the joints you might want to focus your efforts on something a little more joint friendly such as exercise bikes. A bike is great because it will give you the workout that your heart need while not forcing you whole body weight down on your knees and other joints with every step. They come in all different shapes and sizes. Some even have a back rest for people that have bad backs and need to have something to rest on while working out.
