Epiphone Les Paul Standard
The Epiphone Les Paul Standard is a classy guitar. Based on the Gibson Les Paul, a guitar costing four or five times as much, there is actually not much difference between the two. The Epiphone is a little bit lighter, the machine heads are a little looser and the pickups are not quite as hot as the Gibson’s, but other than that you would be hard-pressed to find much to choose between them.
So if you are looking for a good quality guitar that looks, plays and sounds like it should cost a lot more than it does, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard is a great choice. If it’s good enough for Noel Gallagher of Oasis, then it is good enough for lots of other less famous guitarists, no doubt!
