Electric Heaters Guide
There are several different types of electric heaters: convection electric heaters, fan electric heaters, radiant electric heater and infrared electric heaters.
Convection and fan electric heaters both use the natural properties of convection – movements of air and heat – to heat a room or space. The air around the heater is heated, and then this air rises as it becomes less dense. Colder air in the room is pulled down, is then heated by the heater, and the cycle repeats. Convection heaters allow the air to move on its own, and fan heaters use a small motor powered fan to move the air around. Both types of heaters are very efficient and quiet, but fan heaters will heat a room a little bit more quickly as the heat from them is forced out into the room.
