Indoor dog kennels are very important for house training that new puppy or dog. Typically called dog crates, dog 
kennels are an essential part of your overall sanity and the health of the pet. House training is made so much easier if you utilize the dog crate in the proper fashion. A puppy should never be left locked in the kennel without a potty break for more than four hours. A dog crate must be the correct size in order to fully realize the potential it has for house training. A dog will see the kennel as its den and dogs do not soil their dens, that is why the appropriate size is very important. It should be only large enough for the dog to stand up and turn around and no larger. If you allow too much room the dog can go to one side and soil in a corner then lay on the other side without being too offended. Keep it the appropriate size and you will be a very happy dog owner!
