I must admit when we last got a puppy puppy insurance didn’t exist! Instead you just kinda hoped that the dog was basically healthy and that you wouldn’t have to make the horrible decision to put him down because you couldn’t afford to pay the vet bills.
Puppies are just like humans – they need a ton of injections to keep them healthy so looking for a puppy insurance plan when you acquire your puppy is a very good idea- actually probably before is better. I can resist human babies all day long but pictures of cute puppies are just too hard to resist.

So before you fall in love with big eyes, floppy ears and cute feet – do the sums and work out whether puppy insurance is going to save you money.
