Digital picture frame features
Many fans of photography still don’t really understand the purpose of a digital picture frame. It’s rather like the old photo cubes that showed off several photos at once, one in each block. To be sure, the new frames are high tech, but outside of their features, one wonders why we need a frame in which the picture changes constantly.
The features on the seven inch Transcend T.photo 720 include sensors that detect whether a photo was originally taken horizontally or vertically, and then adjust the frame for correct viewing. Other available features are MP3 playback, video capabilities, an FM radio, 2 gigs of memory and a slot used for micro SD cards, like those used in camera phones. These make the 720 more interesting, even though most people will never use all the features.
