If you need storage drawers, perhaps for your garage to keep tools and parts in order, or just to make a little extra storage in the home, you may consider getting drawers that are a little more decorative. For starters, a little color goes a long way. Instead of just getting the basic drawers that are either white or clear, you can get colored plastic drawers – much like plastic storage cubes but with a drawer your item is covered -yet, the color will help you remember exactly what you’re keeping in each drawer. This will also keep it separated in your mind from every other storage drawer you have. You could even use drawers like this for your child, to help them keep their toys organized and arranged in their room. The whole concept of using color is nothing new – it works for children and adults alike.
Another option that may work would be getting drawers on wheels so they’re easier to move around. This is especially good in a garage work environment, so you can move them around the garage while you’re working, but it would work equally well in any situation where the drawers are constantly being shuffled around. I used them to keep my video game equipment in one place, and although they aren’t the fanciest looking piece of furniture, they serve their purpose well.
