The food in Elche is delicious and diverse like its history and culture. There are a number of cafes and restaurants that serve the typical rice dishes so popular in Spain. Also available are dishes from different parts of the world to suit the taste of every visitor.

Elche is the shoe making capital of the country with many factories that manufacture all kinds of shoes. The variety of shoes on sale is amazing with exotic and modern designs making the show markets a popular and cheap destination for many holiday making families.
