A Futon Mattress For A Child
There is so much excitement and anticipation for just about any new step that happens in your child’s life. One of those ‘biggies’ early on is getting that first big boy or big girl beds. We all know that they are still pretty small in comparison to an adult mattress, but these bigger mattresses are still a step up for your child. A great way to move them up is by introducing them to a futon mattress. A futon is a great and comfortable way to go.
These can be made of a variety of materials, but for your child a cotton or wool blend and in-fill combination will be best. These will be supportive and also allow them to jump and do all the other stuff they aren’t supposed to do on them. The futon bed itself can be placed in a cool sports car or mermaid frame. It doesn’t need to look like a Japanese room, but the nature of the mattress makes it suitable to sit on the floor if you like.
